5 Top female WWE Superstars who haven’t won a Championship in the company yet
When we talk about WWE, we immediately think of the men and women who have become synonymous with the company over the years. From Hulk Hogan to John Cena, and from Trish Stratus to Becky Lynch, every single Superstar entered the company with big hopes and dreams. Only a few, however, get to become the biggest stars.
Championships are a big part of the company and have helped the Superstars progress further in their careers. Lynch, for example, was just any other women’s wrestler on the roster a couple of years ago. Now, she is one of the biggest wrestlers in the industry, partially thanks to her SmackDown and RAW Women’s Championship reigns.
Keeping that in mind, we will take a look at five current female Superstars who have a good persona and great in-ring skills, but have not won gold in the company even after competing in the ring for over two years.
#1 Candice LeRae
While Candice LeRae may not have received the chances many would have expected her to get during her time in WWE, she has been a huge star in the wrestling industry before her NXT debut.
LeRae started wrestling in 2002, at a very young age. After remaining on the independent circuit for a long time, LeRae became a part of WWE in 2017 and made her televised debut in a huge No.1 contender’s Battle Royal for the NXT Women’s Championship which was held by Asuka at the time.
While LeRae has been exceptional in the ring both in and out of WWE, she had mostly been kept as part of storylines involving her real-life husband Johnny Gargano.
This had led to many fans forgetting her in-ring capabilities and seeing her more of a manager than anything else, even though she's continued to battle in mid-card matches and Battle Royals.
LeRae recently got her big opportunity to win the NXT Women’s Championship against the current champion Shayna Baszler but came short, despite putting up a great offense.
Looking back at her career, it comes as a surprise that LeRae hasn’t won a single title with the company in over two years, and we expect her to become a champion in the coming years.
