5 Ways WWE can increase the hype around WrestleMania 32
WrestleMania 32 is the WWE’s biggest event of the year. Fans are are generally excited for the most electrifying event in sports entertainment. But, if the recent ratings and audience reactions are to go by, the creative team really needs to get it acts together.
Boring promos, lack of buildup, overuse of the supposed future face of the Company, storylines that have a lot of holes and are to hard make sense of, and to top it all, the apparent non-inclusion of superstars such as the Wyatt Family.
With still over a week to go for the biggest event in sports entertainment, there's a lot WWE can do add more excitement to the event. Here are 5 ways WWE can increase the hype around WrestleMania 32.
Make the Triple H-Roman Reigns match more interesting
Alright, Triple H and Roman Reigns aren’t exactly rivals, the original plan was not to have Roman Reigns face Triple Hat WrestleMania. But, circumstances have led to this and the WWE should try to make the most out of it. Beat downs are not the only way to sell a match.
Reigns can be aggressive, he’s shown that, but unlike Triple H, he lacks charisma, is absolutely terrible with the microphone and it’s just awkward for everyone, including himself when he tries to deliver punchlines and says stuff like “dawg.”
But do you know who is absolutely electrifying with the microphone? Yes, I’m talking about The Rock. Bringing The Rock into the equation will get fans excited. We thought we’d see a feud between The Rock and Triple H again after last year’s WrestleMania, but that didn’t materialise.
The Rock is going to make an appearance, albeit a non-wrestling one, but he is the most electrifying man in sports entertainment. It is quite plausible that The Great One will be on Reigns’ side since they are cousins.
Not only that, The Game and The Brahma Bull go way back. Who doesn’t remember their feuds in the past? The Rock’s intervention in the feud could give way to another feud between The People’s Champion and the King of Kings.
Another legend who can make an appearance, but on The Game’s side, is Shawn Michaels. Although the Heartbreak Kid has denied offers to return in the past, Mr WrestleMania might find it hard to resist an offer to make an appearance at the AT&T Stadium on 3 April.
Speaking of The Game, have they forgotten that he’s The Cerebral Assassin? What happened to his mind games? If one takes a look at his past feuds, The Cerebral Assassin has been a master with mind games.
He’s been known to go to any depths to win and we hope that this time, it won’t be any different. A threat to his blood or his friends could go help The Game get inside the former Shield member’s head, and from there on The Game will do what he does best.
