5 ways to make things more interesting in WWE

SmackDown Live!

As alluded to in an article earlier, WWE is going through a tough time, there have been reports on even Forbes talking about Raw recording its lowest ever ratings among many other things.

Slowly but steadily, right in front of the viewers, the product WWE has dished out has gotten underwhelming to such an extent that the most recent edition of Raw was termed the worst Raw episode of the year, with wrestling insiders like Tazz and Dave Meltzer also coming out with critical reviews for the show.

Admittedly there's been a sharp drop in the product that has been put out by RAW, with even SmackDown also suffering the same fate. With a consistently bad product getting dished out with an alarming regularity, WWE could look at making a few of the following changes to bring up the quality of their product.

#1 Add more credibility to the WWE Championship

In the last few years, slowly but steadily a trend has emerged, and by this year's Survivor Series, it was out in the open for all to see.

The WWE Championship has lost a lot of its credibility in the last few years. On the evidence, this also stems from witnessing how the WWE Champion has been squashed at the hands of the Universal Champion in the last two Survivor Series PPVs.

The main problem behind it is not actually the gold on offer, it usually comes down to the wrestlers fighting for it, and recently we've seen the biggest of stars usually fighting it out only for the Universal title on Raw, and more often than not that ends up taking the most coverage.

There's nothing against AJ styles or Daniel Bryan, but when stars like Braun Strowman, Seth Rollins or Dean Ambrose are on the same brand and fighting for the same gold, it tends to get more credibility.
