5 ways WWE could shock fans at the Royal Rumble

What can WWE do to shock fans at The Royal Rumble?

Surprises - not only are they an important part of pro wrestling, they are something that can leave the fans always coming back for more if done the right way. Beyond that, they are moments where fans, for one reason or another, are able to suspend their disbelief and really sink their teeth into what's going on.

Nonsensical hyperbole aside, surprises are special moments organisations are able to fool their audience with, doing something completely unexpected. With that said, and one of WWE's biggest pay per views of the year right around the corner, one has to wonder what the company could do to leave their fans in absolute disbelief at The Royal Rumble.

As always, let us know your thoughts in the comments below, and be sure to tell us what WWE could do to leave you in absolute shock at this year's Royal Rumble pay per view. Also tell us who you are rooting for to win the men and women's Royal Rumble match this year, and why!

#5 Have John Cena eliminate The Undertaker from The Royal Rumble

Think about it!

John Cena enters relatively early on in the Royal Rumble match and starts eliminating everyone in sight. This goes on for awhile until The Undertaker's entrance music plays and he makes his way down the ramp as Cena watches on. The two then have a full on stare down in the ring before The Cenation leader tosses Taker over the top rope.

If nothing else, that would probably leave The WWE Universe absolutely shocked and angry at the 16 time world champion. It would also put a huge target on Cena's back throughout the rest of the match, and make whoever is finally able to eliminate him an absolute hero in the process.

In the end, its a great way to put a young star over, set up Undertaker versus John Cena a second time, and give The WWE Universe one of the biggest shocks of the century. In fact, if WWE times it all right and really gets fans angry at Cena during the match, the moment could have the same impact as Undertaker losing at WrestleMania 30.
