Professional wrestling is one of the most unpredictable forms of entertainment out there. The overall setting, wrestlers being categorized as babyfaces and heels, and a string of storylines going on at the same time, provides for quite a unique viewing experience.

The clash between babyfaces and heels is as simple of an angle as Pro-wrestling could ever have, but it sure does give us a bunch of exciting possibilities in the long run. Heel turns lead to the best of friends getting apart, and babyface turns puts them back together. In the list below, we will take a look at five enemies who were at each other's throats for a good while, who then somehow managed to put their differences aside and became the best of friends.

#5 Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle

The road to WrestleMania 19 kicked off at the Royal Rumble 2003, with Brock Lesnar winning the free-for-all and a shot at the WWE title. Over the next several weeks, Lesnar and Kurt Angle collided on various occasions.

Lesnar was also tricked by Angle in a WWE title match on SmackDown. Additionally, Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas being on Angle's side made it that much harder for Lesnar to put Angle down.

At WrestleMania 19, Lesnar defeated Angle in the main event, winning the WWE title in the process. The Superstars embraced in front of a white-hot crowd to end the show. Angle took a short break post-Mania, to deal with his injuries.

When he came back, Angle became Lesnar's best friend and the two of them were shown together in a bunch of hilarious backstage segments. The friendship between these two was well received by the fans, but it didn't last long as Lesnar soon turned heel in his pursuit for the WWE title (which Angle had won back at Vengeance 2003).
