In the world of professional wrestling, WrestleMania is widely adulated as the biggest event of the year, and rightfully so because the visual extravaganza offers us moments we, as fans, never forget.

WWE have been influential in booking some of the most clinical bouts at the Grandest Stage of Them All that resonated with the fans, as well as, entertained them to the core.

Since Vince McMahon is heavily involved in keeping his WrestleMania plans intact, character transformations or the reception of audience sometimes coerce the management to think otherwise.

Judging by the reaction of the WWE Universe on certain segments and storylines, WWE have reportedly altered the path of many original WrestleMania plans.

Considering the fact that Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch are now heading as the headlining acts of WrestleMania 35, both the competitors weren't even supposed to be in such a marquee match, let alone be in the main event.

So, why did WWE change their original WrestleMania 35 plans and cancelled it to fit what the audiences wanted? Let's find out.

Here are the 5 shocking WrestleMania 35 plans WWE reportedly cancelled.

#1 Ronda Rousey to defend her Raw Women's Championship against a heel Natalya

While this may genuinely come as a shocker to many, WWE reportedly planned having Ronda Rousey lock horns with a heel Natalya at MetLife Stadium for the Raw Women's Championship.

The original plan, however, was The Rowdy One going one-on-one with Charlotte Flair, but since the latter ignited such a heated rivalry with Becky Lynch, it coerced the WWE management to think otherwise.

Considering the fact that Natalya has been prominently featured alongside Ronda Rousey, it certainly felt that the former SmackDown Women's Champion would turn on Rousey and start a solid feud with her.

However, the unfortunate death of Jim ''The Anvil'' Neidhart led Vince McMahon to scrap the original idea and continued promoting Natalya as a babyface on Monday Night Raw.

Since Becky Lynch is now confirmed to tear the house down with the Rowdy One with the possible addition of Charlotte joining them in the main event, would you have preferred to see Ronda Rousey go one-on-one against Natalya at WrestleMania 35?
