5 WWE WrestleMania matches that lasted less than 30 seconds

These guys never produce short wrestling matches

How do you expect a WrestleMania match to be? Lots of action, excitement, shock, drama and what not! There is this particular aspect called duration that plays a major role in the success of a match.

The crowd generally loves long gruelling matches and wants the superstars to finish the match in desperation. But there are certain instances where WrestleMania matches were short. A 2-3 minute match doesn’t bring you as much fun and excitement as a 25-30 minute match brings. But what about a WrestleMania match that is less than 30 seconds?

I would go a mile further and ask you what if you have a Championship match at WrestleMania for less than 30 seconds? That would be awful!

Here is a collection of WrestleMania matches that were fought for a duration of fewer than 30 seconds and four out of the five are Championship matches!

1) King Kong Bundy vs Special Delivery Jones

The good old days

At WrestleMania 1, King Kong Bundy, accompanied by Jimmy Hart faced Special Delivery Jones in the second match of the night. Bundy crushed Jones against the turnbuckle and viciously landed on him stomach-first. Jones was totally drained of all the energy after this and Bundy quickly pinned Jones.

The WWF's official time for the match is a record time of nine seconds but actually, the reported time for this match was 24 seconds. The first Mania, the second match and the duration is less than 30 seconds, Howzzat!
