5 WWE legends who would have pulled off a great match with Brock Lesnar
Since Brock Lesnar returned to WWE in 2012 the Universal Champion has become almost mythical. The amount he has achieved in those five years is incredible and has only furthered the work he did to make a name for himself during his first run with the company and while he was away fighting for UFC.
The list of names that Lesnar has put away since 2012 is pretty impressive. Triple H, John Cena, Goldberg, and of course The Undertaker and his legendary streak. That wouldn't have stopped fans from daydreaming about other Superstars Lesnar could have taken to Suplex City.
No matter what era The Beast had been born in he would have been a top guy without question. However, if the likes of Cena and Goldberg hadn't been around, then who exactly would have Brock matched up with best?
#5 Ricky Steamboat
This first entry may have a few readers raising their eyebrows, Ricky Steamboat. One of the greatest Superstars to never hold a World Championship under WWE's banner and widely regarded as one of the best in-ring performers of all time.
All that aside could Ricky have really given The Beast Incarnate a good match? Simply put Steamboat could give anybody a good match, past or present. In fact, there's someone right now akin to Steamboat's stature that WWE is lining up to take on the Universal Champion.
If the rumours are true, then Lesnar's next challenger will be Finn Balor. Most fans are of the belief that The Demon King can have a special match with the former UFC Heavyweight Champion, and if you believe that, then you have to agree that Steamboat could have also done something special.
