5 WWE matches where the wrong person won
As members of the WWE Universe, we have seen some incredible matches in the company's history.
From classic battles like The Rock Vs. 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin, to incredible performances by the likes of Rey Mysterio, Daniel Bryan, and Eddie Guerrero, there's something for everyone in the annals of WWE history.
But although there have been plenty of great matches, there have been some great bouts that were ruined in the final few minutes, by having the wrong Superstar get the win.
The fans have never been quiet in showing this displeasure for the WWE's booking decisions and certainly made their voices heard after these blunders.
Here are five WWE matches where, despite the storyline and fans, the wrong person won.
#5: Triple H Vs. Booker T (WrestleMania 19)
When WCW folded in early 2001, the WWE saw a wave of new Superstars join the company.
And though the majority amounted to very little as part of the McMahon-led company, one star who shone during the InVasion angle, was Booker T.
With his natural charisma and in-ring ability, it was only a matter of time before Booker T was accepted by the fans, and would soon go head-to-head with Triple H.
The World Heavyweight Champion at the time, Triple H would allude to Booker's real-life criminal past during their feud, though many fans believed the story was based around race.
With everything against him, having Booker take the gold at WrestleMania 19 would've been perfect.
Instead, Booker got planted with a Pedigree, and pinned nearly a minute later, becoming just one of many WCW stars who fell to the Game in 2003.
