5 WWE NXT Superstars Triple H should immediately call up to RAW or SmackDown
Despite the recent surge in WWE NXT's popularity, it's still a developmental brand. So, stars on the show will eventually head to RAW or SmackDown, and some of them need to make that move as soon as possible.
There's no denying that both main roster shows are loaded with talents eager to get an opportunity to become household names. Furthermore, with WrestleMania season just a couple of months away, expect the top storylines to get even richer.
That said, there's still plenty of room on both WWE RAW and SmackDown for promising NXT wrestlers. In fact, some of them are ready enough for Triple H to call them up immediately. Here are five of them.
#5. Current WWE NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez
NXT's women's division has been hailed by many as the best in the professional wrestling industry. Roxanne Perez being its cornerstone is definitely not a coincidence.
In the last two-and-a-half years, the 23-year-old rising star has been part of numerous acclaimed matches and storylines. She was a tremendously likable babyface and is thriving as a snobbish heel who gets the job done by hook or by crook. So, granted her in-ring game already looked promising when she signed with WWE, but the improvements she has made as an on-screen character are off the charts.
Thus, Triple H shouldn't wait much longer before calling Perez up. All she has to do is drop the NXT Women's Championship to either Giulia or Stephanie Vaquer on an upcoming show and then join the main roster, preferably as a babyface. She could either start off on a big note by feuding with Nia Jax or Liv Morgan or be an integral part of the road to the Women's Royal Rumble match.
#4. Ethan Page
One of the main reasons why NXT is gaining momentum is the fact that the show has up-and-coming stars working with established veterans. Ethan Page is among said veterans.
After wrestling elsewhere for 18 years, Page made his WWE debut in the summer of 2024. Given his remarkable match catalog, one would have expected him to go straight to the main roster. However, his presence in NXT was very much needed, especially after the brand had lost key names such as Bron Breakker, Carmelo Hayes & Ilja Dragunov.
But now that All-Ego has successfully put over Trick Williams, the current top male star on the brand, it's time he receives his much-earned main-roster call-up. He could be a refreshing addition to the SmackDown roster that is currently lacking credible heels.
#3. and #2. Current NXT Tag Team Champions Fraxiom
The live crowds' reaction to Motor City Machine Guns becoming champions in their second-only appearance proved that WWE Universe is craving for the spotlight to be put on the tag-team division. That is where Fraxiom can help.
The uber-athletic, high-energy alliance of Nathan Frazer and Axiom has been among the highlights of NXT this year. So, it's no surprise that they've won the tag team straps twice. While their presence on the Tuesday night show is solid, it would be a wise move for them to make their main-roster arrivals soon.
The reason why Triple H should rush Fraxiom's call-up is so that the main-roster fans can enjoy their pristine work as a tag team before they eventually resume their solo careers. What helps is that they already have tons of dream matches lined up against teams such as Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee and The Motor City Machine Guns to name a few.
#1. Oba Femi
The term 'future main event star' gets thrown around quite a lot these days. But if there's one young prospect bound to be a consistent headliner, it's Oba Femi.
The Ruler's record-breaking run as the NXT North American Champion showed the WWE Universe that he's ready to take over the big stage. While it's possible that Oba will fight for the NXT Championship next, that might not be necessary since there's a high chance that his next title run on NXT won't be as prolific as his last one.
Therefore, Triple H should pluck the 26-year-old sensation from WWE's developmental brand right away and have him reinitiate his streak of dominance on either RAW or SmackDown.
