5 WWE photos we wish we could unsee
In the annals of WWE history, there have been some classic images that have stood the test of time.
From Shawn Michaels clutching the WWF Championship after his boyhood dream came true at WrestleMania 12, to McMahon shaking hands with Eric Bischoff on RAW in 2002.
These photos are not that.
Because just like there have been plenty of photos immortalised for all the right reasons, these ones have lived on with fans for the worst of reasons.
Whether it be due to how funny they are, or real-life problems, these moments have stood the test of time.
Here are five WWE photos we wish we could un-see.
#5: The Streak is broken
When the Undertaker’s legendary undefeated streak was broken at WrestleMania 30, time stood still.
For over 20 years, the Deadman had been digging holes and taking souls, with the list of his victims at the granddaddy of them all being a who’s who in WWE history.
So the idea of the Deadman losing at the event was inconceivable to many fans, who hoped they would never see it happen.
Unfortunately, in 2014, that did happen, as Brock Lesnar was chosen to do the unthinkable, and became the 1 in 21-1.
As if the match itself wasn’t memorable enough, the look of one fan, Ellis Mbeh in the crowd has immortalised the historic moment.
With his jaw dropped and eyes wide open in horror, Ellis’ expression instantly became a meme, though the superfan has taken his newfound fame well, even posing with fans and Superstars at various shows.
