5 WWE stars who could crash LA Knight's US Title win celebration on SmackDown - Former champion to return, bitter rival

LA Knight will be holding a celebration tonight on WWE SmackDown following his huge victory this past Saturday night at SummerSlam. The popular WWE Superstar defeated Logan Paul to capture the United States Championship.

It was also reported earlier today that The Megastar has reached a new deal with the promotion to remain in the company for the foreseeable future. The veteran likely now has a target on his back as the United States Champion.

Listed below are five WWE stars who could crash Knight's United States Championship celebration later tonight on SmackDown.

Logan Paul captured the United States Championship at Crown Jewel 2023 and only defended the title three times during his reign. He dropped the title to LA Knight at SummerSlam in front of his hometown fans at Cleveland Browns Stadium.

The Maverick informed Knight that he would be taking him to court following SummerSlam due to damaging his Prime truck. Paul could show up during SmackDown tonight to make his lawsuit against the United States Champion official and continue their rivalry.

#4. Carmelo Hayes could reignite his rivalry with The Megastar

Carmelo Hayes and LA Knight had a heated rivalry earlier this year on SmackDown. Knight mocked Hayes to his face during a backstage promo after the former NXT Champion botched one of his lines.

Hayes was selected in the first round of this year's WWE Draft by SmackDown but has not lived up to the hype so far. The 30-year-old could go after the veteran's United States Championship as a way to establish himself as a star on the main roster.

#3. Andrade may confront the United States Champion

WWE Speed Champion Andrade will be competing against Santos Escobar tonight in a singles match. The winner of the bout will become the number one contender for the United States Championship.

The former All Elite Wrestling star returned to the promotion during the Men's Royal Rumble match earlier this year. Andrade is a former United States Champion and could confront Knight later tonight on SmackDown to warn the veteran that he is coming after the title once again.

#2. Santos Escobar could send a message to LA Knight

Santos Escobar will be squaring off against Andrade to determine the number one contender for the United States Championship. The Legado Del Fantasma member could also show up during LA Knight's United States Championship celebration tonight to begin a rivalry with the veteran.

Escobar is a former NXT Cruiserweight Champion but has never held a title on the company's main roster. The 40-year-old may be jealous of Knight's popularity and recent success on SmackDown. Escobar could brutally attack Knight during his celebration to begin a heated rivalry between the two stars.

#1. Giovanni Vinci could finally return to confront LA Knight

Giovanni Vinci has not appeared on WWE television since he was brutally attacked by Ludwig Kaiser on the April 22 edition of RAW. The former NXT Tag Team Champion was kicked out of Imperium and SmackDown commentator Wade Barrett suggested Vinci return to his gimmick from NXT.

Vinci portrayed a self-centered model for a while and could poke fun at LA Knight's time as the leader of the Maximum Male Models faction. A rivalry with Knight would be a great way to reintroduce Vinci to wrestling fans and give the 34-year-old a meaningful storyline on SmackDown.
