5 WWE stars Triple H could put a championship on before 2024 ends

WWE is on fire right now. It seems as if every few weeks the Sports Entertainment juggernaut is breaking a record of some kind. For example, Bad Blood just broke a record for arena gates in the United States just a handful of days ago.

It seems as if everything is working out. For the most part, the performers in the promotion seem relatively happy, especially when in comparison to how the company was operated under Vince McMahon. A lot of talent is being used better, too.

Still, there are always some talented performers who are waiting to break out or to get another championship belt around their waist. With so many talented stars in the company, there are bound to be some who have to wait in line.

As 2024's end draws near, Triple H may decide to shake things up and put belts on a handful of stars. This includes a few contenders for the United States Title, a future world champion, and beyond. Who might The Game put a title on before 2024 ends?

Below are five WWE stars Triple H could put a championship on before 2024 ends:

#5. Andrade could become a double champion soon

Andrade is one of the best in-ring performers in the world. During his previous run in WWE, Andrade was a former United States Champion and NXT Champion. He found great success in Mexico and also competed in All Elite Wrestling.

El Idolo is currently feuding with two WWE stars at once. He has been in a hotly contested war with Carmelo Hayes. As if that wasn't enough, LA Knight is now involved. Thankfully, Andrade is likely okay with that, as he wants the United States Championship.

In fact, Andrade could end up winning the prized belt before 2024 comes to an end. While he is technically a champion already with the Speed Title, that belt is barely canon and thus isn't featured on television. The United States Title could be what Andrade needs.

#4. Carmelo Hayes may become the United States Champion

Carmelo Hayes is an extremely talented performer currently assigned to the WWE SmackDown brand. He was a huge hit in NXT, where he held both the North American Championship and the NXT Title.

As noted, Carmelo Hayes has been in a feud with Andrade for quite a while now. At the same time, he wants the WWE United States Champion. In fact, Melo arguably earned a title opportunity on SmackDown last week.

Hayes went one-on-one with AJ Styles last Friday. Ahead of the match, LA Knight had said that if Carmelo won, the latter would be strongly considered as a challenger. Thanks to an injury AJ sustained in the bout, Carmelo won. Now he will likely challenge Knight, and there is a very real chance Triple H books The A-Champion to win the gold.

#3. Johnny Gargano & #2. Tommaso Ciampa, #DIY needs to get the tag team gold back

#DIY is a popular tag team on WWE Friday Night SmackDown, but they got their start as a duo in NXT. The pair took over the erstwhile black and gold brand, winning the NXT Tag Team Championship. They later broke up and found incredible success as solo stars.

The two reunited on the main roster last year and briefly held the WWE Tag Team Title several months ago. Unfortunately, The Bloodline quickly defeated Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano, and the duo has since been unable to get the gold back.

Given that both men are long-time favorites of Triple H, it seems inevitable that they will soon hold gold again. The Game needs to compensate the duo for the short reign, and the pair fighting and dethroning Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa may be the move.

#1. Tiffany Stratton could win the WWE Women's Championship

Tiffany Stratton is another former NXT star who is currently a part of WWE SmackDown. While on the developmental brand, Tiffany won the NXT Women's Championship. Since joining the main roster, she has yet to win gold.

Despite that, a world title win seems all but inevitable. Tiffany won the 2024 Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match in Canada. This means she now has a guaranteed world title shot at any time, which virtually ensures her winning gold.

While The Buff Barbie technically has until next summer to cash in, she could and should do so far before then. In fact, the 25-year-old could cash in any week. The only question is whether she'll use her contract to win the WWE Women's Title from Nia Jax or the Women's World Championship from Liv Morgan.
