All criticism aside, you've got to feel for the hated folks working in WWE's writing team as injuries and a moody Vince McMahon can strike at any time and revamp all existing arrangements.

Various plans for WrestleMania 34 itself have drastically been altered in the past few weeks due to various reasons. Creative, though, is well prepared in cases of a crisis, and have jotted down a host of backup plans for the biggest show in WWE's calendar year.

The seeds of an unlikely clash between the Cerebral Assassin and the Monster Among Men were planted at Survivor Series last year when the latter laid out the WWE COO after a frustrating end to the men's Survivor Series elimination match.

WWE digressed from the apparent angle and have instead chosen to resume a long-term storyline between Ronda Rousey, Triple H, and Stephanie McMahon.

With Kurt Angle set to guide Rowdy in her WWE debut, and WWE extensively highlighting the storied past between Angle and Triple H, a rollback of plans seems highly unlikely now.

But, if anything unfortunate were to happen at the very last moment, Strowman could very well step in to save the day. However, that's not the only match he's rumored to be involved in...
