5 WWE Superstars destined to main-event WrestleMania one day

The WWE WrestleMania main event has followed the same pattern in five of the last six years, with a part-time Superstar (The Rock, Brock Lesnar, Triple H or, The Undertaker) facing a full-time Superstar (John Cena or Roman Reigns) in a singles match.
The only exception came at WrestleMania XXX when Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, and Batista headlined the show in a Triple Threat, but even that was originally supposed to be a singles match between a part-timer (Batista) and a full-timer (Orton).
While that main-event model may have been needed in previous years, WWE now has a roster that is stacked with people who are more than capable of competing in the last match on the card at the company’s biggest PPV of the year.
In this article, we take a look at five current WWE Superstars who are destined to main-event “The Show of Shows” one day.
#5 Braun Strowman

Braun Strowman has featured prominently on WWE’s weekly television shows ever since his main-roster debut in August 2015, but he is yet to make an impact on the famous WrestleMania stage.
He was rumoured to be facing The Undertaker at WrestleMania 32 but, he appeared in a promo segment with the Wyatt Family and The Rock instead, while he was only a part of the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the WrestleMania 33 kickoff show.
A match for the Raw Tag Team titles at WrestleMania 34 is a step in the right direction for Strowman, but much bigger and better things will surely come his way on “The Grandest Stage of Them All” in future years.
