5 WWE Superstars That Should Be Repackaged

Roman Reigns

Throughout the past decade or so, the famed creative writers of WWE have managed to entertain us with intriguing storylines and A-plus bouts but the first few months of 2018 hasn't been that transcendent. In fact, it has been quite awful.

Just check this recorded video of fans leaving during the match between Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe in the recently-concluded Backlash Pay Per View. And with that being taken into consideration, Sportskeeda will look at five wrestlers which badly need to be repackaged by WWE in order to remain in the upper rungs of the wrestling hierarchy.

The moment Becky Lynch became the inaugural SmackDown women's champion the 2016 Backlash pay per view, it seemed like that the Irish Lass Kicker was primed to reign the women's division for a long time.

The 31-year-old Irish had the necessary ingredients of becoming a successful WWE superstar possessing the looks, great in-ring ability, and decent mic skills. At one point, she had the makings of becoming the next Lita. But things started to nosedived for Lynch ever since she lost the SmackDown women's title to Alexa Bliss in the Tables Ladders and Chairs PPV in December of the said year.

Lynch had opportunities to reclaimed her title but eventually fell short and since then has been linked in plots with the Riott Squad. Currently, the Irish Lass Kicker is involved in a storyline between the now-defunct Absolution members Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose. To make matters worse, Lynch is undergoing a losing slump, most recently suffering a shocking defeat to Rose last week. With how things are going right now, its highly unlikely that WWE will put her in the main event picture soon this year.

Suggestion: Turn Lynch from face to heel and insert her into some matches with Charlotte Flair. More like Lita vs. Trish Stratus again with a twist.
