Winning multiple championships in WWE is a rare feat. An even rarer feat is becoming a Grand Slam Champion. Not many superstars have had the chance to achieve this. Today, to be declared a Grand Slam Champion, a wrestler must have held a World Title (WWE Title or Universal Title), the United States Title, the Intercontinental Title, as well as a Tag Team Title (SmackDown Live Tag Team Titles or Raw Tag Team Titles).

There are a few superstars who are not that far away from achieving the triumph of becoming a Grand Slam Champion, joining the list of many elite wrestlers like Edge, Chris Jericho, Eddie Guerrero among others. Here are five such superstars.

#5 Zack Ryder

Zack Ryder's career has been full of ups and downs. He has been with WWE for over 12 years now and has become quite a likable character with the WWE Universe. A tag-team specialist, he has one Tag Team Championship reign to his name alongside Curt Hawkins. He has also won the United States and the Intercontinental Championships.

Ryder has never won the WWE Championship. Once a hugely over star with the fans, Ryder's career has since come down crashing as his ongoing run is nothing short of a nightmare. With his current status as a jobber and not even a mid-carder, it dubious for him to win the acclaimed title anytime soon.
