Ever since the new promotion was confirmed, everyone has been talking about All Elite Wrestling.

Following on from last year's independent supershow ALL IN, AEW is the brainchild of Cody Rhodes and the Young Bucks, and will be financed by Tony Khan.

Holding a press conference in the same town as this week's SmackDown, some huge names have already been signed for the promotion, including Britt Baker, PAC, and former WWE World Champion, Chris Jericho.

Whilst so much has been going well for the new promotion, the company cannot run on three wrestlers alone, and obviously will be needing to sign more talent soon.

Rhodes himself has said that the new promotion aims to be a mix of new talent as well as established stars, presumably ones who have made their names in the WWE.

Here are five WWE Superstars who could shockingly sign with AEW.

#5 Zack Ryder

An odd choice at first glance, Zack Ryder has been a staple of WWE television for over a decade.

In that time Ryder has had some success, winning the Tag Team, United States and Intercontinental Championships, though these reigns have not lasted long.

Still popular with the fans who fondly remember his push in 2011, the Long Island Iced Z struggles for TV time, even pointing out on Twitter that he had no televised matches on RAW in 2018.

Moving to AEW could, therefore, be perfect for Ryder, who at the very least would be allowed to wrestle, and heaven forbid, win matches!

Ryder and Rhodes are good friends, with Cody stating he wanted Ryder for ALL IN, and whilst he couldn't join the former NWA Champion then, he could side with him in 2019.
