Every year, there's an insane amount of underrated talent that goes unnoticed by WWE management and creative team.

There have been so many great wrestlers that have missed out on holding a championship at the peak of their popularity.

Today I've decided to look at the 5 WWE Superstars who deserve a Championship push this year, whether it's the Intercontinental championship, the United States Championship, WWE World Heavyweight Championship or the Universal Championship.

#5 - Rusev

Rusev, Former 2-time United States Champion.
Rusev, Former 2-time United States Champion.

During his run on Smackdown Live, Rusev has developed an undeniable chemistry with Aiden English.

Declaring that every day is Rusev day, there's no denying it has caught on like the flu.

Granted Rusev is already a 2-time United States championship, but this is the most over Rusev has been since debuting on the Main Roster in 2014 and going undefeated for months on end.

With crowds chanting "Rusev Day" when he's not even in the ring, WWE should put the rocket onto this man and give him a run with the United States championship again.
