When you're a WWE Superstar, whether it be in 2018 or 1988, you want to win. There's arguably nothing more important to the men and women of WWE than racking up those big wins at live events, on TV and at the pay per views.
A series of wins can easily turn into a shot at the championship, which in itself, can turn into lengthy reigns with championship gold.
But for some Superstars, they are willing to do anything to pick up those victories.
Some Superstars in the years have even been willing to fake an injury (some of which, even life-threatening) to get in the head of their opponents, or at the very least, to give them an unfair advantage over their foes.
Here are 5 WWE Superstars, who were willing to do whatever it takes, and faked an injury on-screen.

In 2005, Randy Orton seemingly did the unthinkable: killing off The Undertaker, after burning the Deadman alive at No Mercy.
As we all know, it's hard to kill, what's already dead, and The Undertaker did return at Survivor Series, setting up a Hell In A Cell match between the two at Armageddon.
Fearing for his life, the Legend Killer came out somberly on SmackDown one day and announced that due to injuries and other issues, he was announcing his retirement, aged just 25.
When the Phenom showed up, the newly retired-Orton pleaded for the Phenom to let him go in peace, before the Deadman was distracted by a rogue druid.
This cloaked figure turned out to be Orton' father Cowboy Bob (but we'll get to him later), who gave his son the advantage, assaulting the Undertaker, and revealing his retirement to be a ruse.
The match went on at Armageddon, though not how the Orton's would've wanted.
