5 WWE Superstars who flopped at WrestleMania 35
WrestleMania 35 was quite a good show, considering that the three main matches ended exactly as fans wanted them. Seth Rollins, Kofi Kingston and Becky Lynch all walked out with championships around their waist.

However, the show was not without its faults. For one, the lack of pyro and grand entrances definitely stood out. Moreover, there were simply far too many matches on the card and that slowed down the pace, burned the crowd out on many occasions and matches that simply weren't that well placed.
In essence, they really centred the show around the Universal title match, the WWE title match and the main event. They operated in a manner that seemed to suggest that the other matches were more or less "breaks" so they could get hot for said matches.
It wasn't a great look and this resulted in a lot of underwhelming performances. We look at the five flops of WrestleMania 35.
#5. Randy Orton
Just to make it clear, we don't like being overly critical about Randy Orton, because he gets criticised enough as it is. However, it's really time for us to admit that the criticism he receives is 100% valid.
The build to the match was basically just 2-3 promos and a couple of backstage segments. It was still entertaining and the match was much anticipated, especially since their last encounter was on February 2017, an enthralling one at that.
This match, however, simply didn't deliver. Randy Orton seemed completely unmotivated and the match did not live up to expectations. Sure, they had a tough act to follow from Seth Rollins winning the Universal Championship, two superstars of their calibre really should have put on a better performance.
While Styles can be blamed, we believe it's the "methodical" style of Orton that slowed this down.
