5 WWE Superstars who had a great 2018

Yes!
Yes!

In one of my earlier posts, I talked about wrestlers that had a horrible 2018 and would hope that 2019 doesn't play out the same way as 2018.

On the other hand, there have been WWE Superstars who have had a great 2018, and would love for that trend to continue. Many have been able to stamp their authority in their respective brands, some have been able to make a comeback to the top, while others have well and truly arrived.

Lets go through the list one by one to see how the year panned out for them.

#1 AJ Styles

Who could have ever thought that The Phenomenal One would ever step in a WWE ring? And then who would have thought that he would go on to become the WWE Champion, not once but twice, and have a reign that lasts more than a year.

2018 was the year where AJ Styles finally accomplished everything. He's been the champion for TNA, NJPW, and now even for WWE.

Not only this, but it was Styles who literally carried the SmackDown brand on his shoulders for almost a year as the champion, becoming the ambassador of the sport everywhere he went.

In the ring as well, he put on great feuds with wrestlers like Shinsuke Nakamura, Samoa Joe, and Daniel Bryan, & more often than not proved his ability as one of the best performers in the world.

Currently, AJ is in a feud with Daniel Bryan and has a WWE Championship rematch at TLC. He is in contract talks with WWE, as his contract expires next year, and it's more than likely he will sign up an extension with WWE. In many ways Styles will look back at 2018 with the fondest of memories.
