5 WWE Superstars who might betray their teams at Survivor Series
Survivor Series is now less than twenty four hours away, and the anticipation is at an all-time high. The road to Survivor Series has seen many twists and turns; Becky Lynch was removed from the Survivor Series card last week because of her injuries, as WWE was forced to change their plans for the rumoured main event.
The wrestling world was further sent into meltdown when AJ Styles dropped the WWE Championship to Daniel Bryan on SmackDown Live, changing WWE’s landscape merely days before the mega event. Bryan will now face Lesnar at Survivor Series, while Rousey will face Charlotte Flair.
One of the main attractions of the Survivor Series pay-per-view every year has been the traditional five-on-five Survivor Series match. This year, we will have three brand versus brand matches, and much like every year, there are rumours swirling around about superstars turning on their teammates during the show. Lets take a look at five superstars who could back-stab their teammates at Survivor Series.
#5 Sanity
Sanity will be representing Team SmackDown Live in the 10-on-10 tag team elimination match at Survivor Series. The faction was dominant on NXT, but ever since they showed up on SmackDown Live, they’ve become an afterthought.
Dain, Young, and Wolfe struck fear in the hearts of the NXT stars, but on the main roster, their run so far has been less than impressive. However, that can all change at Survivor Series.
WWE needs good heels, and the stable can shake things up at Survivor Series by turning on their own team. Imagine Sanity and either The New Day or The Usos being the last two remaining teams representing SmackDown Live, and Sanity turning on them!
It would help the team in gaining momentum, and challenge for the tag team gold in the near future. There are very few good teams on SmackDown who can challenge for the tag team titles, and Sanity could enter the fray by shocking the WWE Universe this Sunday.
