A lot of WWE Superstars have fallen down the pecking order on both RAW and SmackDown Live due to the recent recruitment of fresh faces from NXT. Their storylines have taken a back-seat because of the way the writers have been portraying them in recent times, and there is a need for a substantial change to their characters.

History has shown us that a character-turn can work miracles, not just for the mid-carders, but for the top stars as well. That is why WWE keeps shuffling around things to bring in some variety and excitement.

With that said, here are five stars from the company that can really do with a heel turn to make a major impact.

#5 Asuka

The Empress Of Tomorrow started off her WWE career on a high when she broke Bill Goldberg’s undefeated streak and cemented her legacy. She was unbeaten for 914 days and conquered a lot of top talents during this time period.

However, though she started off in similar fashion on her call-up to SmackDown Live, the fierceness in her character did not last long. Further, once she was finally defeated by Charlotte Flair, she went through a face-turn which clearly ruined her push completely.

Since that point, though she has managed to capture the SmackDown Live women’s title, she has suffered some strange losses. These defeats have hurt her career as a fierce competitor and the fans have stopped focusing too much attention on her.

Now, all she needs is a face turn to bring back the menace she was during her NXT days. This is really a must, as it can once again make her a serious threat, and she can practically revive her career like the likes of Becky Lynch have.
