5 WWE Superstars who refused to lose huge matches
Like any competitive sport, the goal of professional wrestlers is to be the best.
Often, this is accomplished by winning matches, with names such as Hulk Hogan, The Rock, Bret Hart, and John Cena all having huge victories in their very illustrious careers.
When a new Superstars joins the WWE, they will no doubt be hoping to win more than they lose, and put on a good show each and every week. But for some Superstars, winning isn't just a good thing, but it's an absolute must in certain circumstances.

For these Superstars, they had their own reasons why they refused to take just one loss, despite what the WWE thought was best. Here are five WWE Superstars who flat-out refused to lose huge matches, and their reasons why.
#5. Hulkamania runs wild at the expense of the Legend Killer
In 2006, Randy Orton had found his spot as an upper mid-carder. Capturing the World Heavyweight Championship at Summerslam two years prior, Orton had become a huge star, feuding and defeating several legends.
At Summerslam 2006, Hulk Hogan was the next to be added to that list, as the company planned for Orton to defeat the Immortal One at Summerslam. Laying out the Hulkster with an RKO at Saturday Night's Main Event, a victory over Hogan would have been arguably the biggest victory in the Viper's career.
Instead, though, Hogan refused to lose to the Legend Killer, threatening to pull out of the match due to 'injuries'. This threat clearly worked for the Hulkster, as Hogan toppled the Viper, in what was an entertaining though ultimately forgettable match.
