Expect these WWE superstars back again sooner rather than later

Despite the fact that WWE is scripted entertainment, the men and women in the ring compete at a very high level indeed. Injuries are, therefore, not uncommon in the business of sports entertainment.

Thankfully, WWE also has a staff of dedicated medical professionals who work at getting the injured WWE superstars back into ring shape. WWE always maintains a stacked roster to ensure that if someone is indeed injured, the show does go on for the thousands in attendance and the millions watching at home.

Even at this point, there are a whole bunch of WWE superstars, who are on the shelf nursing very serious injuries. But some of them are on the comeback trail and we'll talk about them in this very article.

Leave a comment and let me know if I missed any names out at all, in this list.

#5 Sami Zayn

Sami Zayn has had a strange sort of year in WWE. While he was on fire alongside Kevin Owens as the top heel on SmackDown Live, his feud with Lashley and his sisters was a bust. And just when one thought that things couldn't get any worse, Sami Zayn suffered an injury to both his rotator cuffs.

The good news is that when he returns, enough time will have passed for people to forget that the angle with Bobby Lashley and his sisters ever took place. Interestingly enough, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens, while allied on SmackDown Live, did not seem to be working together as a unit on RAW during Sami Zayn's previous RAW run. It seemed like Zayn was being built into a top heel on his own.

Thankfully, vignettes showing Sami Zayn's return were aired on the RAW after WWE TLC. And he wasn't the only one.
