5 WWE Superstars whom Vince McMahon won't allow to go to All Elite Wrestling

Don't cross the boss!
Don't cross the boss!

With the coming of AEW, there's a lot of tension over who is going where. For the first time in years, it seems like WWE may have legitimate competition. This isn't a jab at NJPW, ROH, Impact Wrestling or any of the other promotions, but the fact of the matter is that there are wrestling promotions and then there's WWE.

WWE has always been the sports entertainment giant, and there's no doubt that they want to keep it that way. Heard of all the rumours where WWE sign talent just so that they don't sign with other promotions? That's very likely to be true as well.

However, in our opinion, AEW presents a great opportunity, even for WWE. Obviously, it's not going to become WCW overnight, but in time, (and if rumours of AEW's potential TV deal being massive is true), then we could see healthy competition for the first time in years.

We could see superstars jumping ship like the Monday Night Wars and we could even see WWE backed into a corner, forced to make an even better product. With that said, there are a few superstars who Vince McMahon will definitely not allow to go to All Elite Wrestling, and these are the five main ones.

#5. AJ Styles

Vince McMahon is a big fan of AJ Styles, and that's evident by the way he's presented on WWE television. It took him all but 9 months to reach the mountain top, and ever since then, he's been a bonafide main event superstar.

With AJ Styles being in the twilight of his career, Vince McMahon will undoubtedly want him to spend the remainder of his run in WWE. Even after he retires, Styles could easily land a role in the Performance Center helping younger superstars. All said and done, Styles will most likely have a job in WWE for life (if he chooses to).
