Often we hear the phrase 'born with a silver spoon' thrown around very loosely to describe people who act entitled.
To your surprise, there are many people who have been born into rich families that you would never have guessed, even some wrestlers in the WWE today. Some current and former WWE superstars were fully born into a life of luxury that contrasts the gruelling demands of the world of the wrestling today.
Of course, wealth isn't a guaranteed gateway into the Pro-Wrestling industry neither does it affect the ability of a wrestler.
But it does give us an interesting insight into the upbringings of some of our beloved superstars. It also possibly gives us an insight into which wrestlers have truly done this to earn a livelihood and which are just looking for something to do.
In this article, we're going to look at five WWE superstars (past & present) that were born into rich families. The names on this list may surprise you.
#5 Rene Dupree
The youngest tag team champion in WWE history owes a lot of his success & wealth in life to his father, Emile Dupree. The Frenchman's father toured the United States working for several wrestling promotions, he was so popular that he even worked a few promotions across the pond in New Zealand and Australia.

Emile was a wrestler but also a full-time promoter. He owned a company called 'Grand Prix Wrestling', which he was able to secure a lucrative regional TV deal for.
The promotion worked on a nationwide circuit in the states, despite ceasing for a while the company made its long anticipated comeback in 2013, featuring none other than Renee Dupree as the star attraction. Throughout his career, Renee has been shadowed by his father both financially and professionally.
