5 WWE Superstars who were locker room leaders
One thing that professional wrestling fans don't get to see is what exactly goes on behind the scenes in the locker room area. Sure, there are some backstage segments but those are mostly staged and set up to not give any insight into the actual goings on behind the scenes.
But, just like any other workplace, the WWE locker room also has its fair share of leaders. There are those respected veteran superstars who are held in high esteem regardless of their position on the card. In a business built on respect, seniority is a huge factor.
Over the years, there have been a number of WWE superstars who have been the actual authority when it comes to the behaviour of wrestlers. So, without any further ado, here is our list of five WWE superstars who were locker room leaders:
#5 Trish Stratus
Trish Stratus is perhaps the best female WWE performer of the last 25 years, and there is little doubt as to her importance in helping establish women's wrestling during an era when female performers were often relegated to roles meant to pique the curiosity of men.
So, it comes as little surprise that at the peak of her powers, Trish was very much the leader of the women's dressing room. She was often the top-billed female wrestler and amongst the most respected of her time.
We can't even speculate where women's wrestling in the WWE would be today if it weren't for the efforts of Trish Stratus.
