5 WWE superstars who 'Woken' Matt Hardy must delete soon
The entire WWE Universe erupted with sheer joy when 'Woken' Matt Hardy finally arrived in the WWE. Loud chants of ‘Delete’ filled the entire arena in a blink of an eye. Even though the WWE and the Hardy's wanted to introduce their 'Broken' avatar to the WWE universe right off the bat, a long drawn legal battle against TNA ensured otherwise. But better late than never. 'Woken' Matt Hardy is here instead and it is here to stay.
Broken Matt Hardy was the best thing to ever happen to TNA Wrestling. Matt's new over the top persona made him the hottest commodity in all of pro wrestling in the year 2016. It will not be a stretch to say that the broken gimmick saved Matt from becoming irrelevant. And now millions of WWE fans will get the opportunity to savour a new side of Matt Hardy every week on WWE RAW.
The new 'Woken' avatar of Matt Hardy, not only brings something fresh to the table but also opens up the doors for exciting new rivalries. Thus, here are five WWE superstars that 'Woken' Matt Hardy must try and delete in the foreseeable future. These rivalries will provide some much-needed edge of the seat entertainment to the WWE fans, to say the least.
#1 Bray Wyatt
The rivalry between Bray Wyatt and Woken Matt Hardy is already underway. There couldn’t have been a better first opponent for Matt Hardy than the 'Eater of the Worlds'. Matt Hardy's woken gimmick is unlike anything that the WWE Universe has ever witnessed before. Thus, in order to make the transition smooth for Matt and the WWE fans, it's only logical that Matt squares off against someone who is as deranged as him.
Also, Matt Hardy needs to win his debut feud in the broken persona. As Bray Wyatt’s character is already going downhill at a rapid pace, a loss at this juncture will not hurt him as much. WWE can book a Matt Hardy victory over Bray and in the process, delete Bray's current silly gimmick. A fresh start and a new persona are what Bray Wyatt so desperately needs to salvage his plummeting career. Therefore, a deletion of Wyatt at the hands of 'Woken' Matt is the perfect opportunity for the WWE to do so.
