5 WWE Superstars you probably forgot main-evented WrestleMania
WrestleMania is the biggest show of the year.
Dating back to 1985, the spring staple has seen some dramatic moments over the decades, from Hulk Hogan slamming Andre the Giant at Mania 3, to Shawn Michaels having his boyhood dream come true in 1996.
Even more recently, there have been plenty of incredible moments in the last match of the card, including Daniel Bryan finally capturing the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 30, and Seth Rollins stealing the very same title in the heist of the century just one year later.
But for as incredible as these moments were, there have been some less than memorable WrestleMania moments, with many Superstars appearing in the main event, to little fanfare.
Here are five WWE Superstars you probably didn't remember laced their boots in the biggest match of the year.
#5: The Big Show (WrestleMania 2000)
A staple of the WWE, this past February marked 20 years of the former WWE, WCW, ECW and World Heavyweight Champion, The Big Show.
And whilst Show's career is decorated with gold, his matches at WrestleMania haven't been as tremendous.
Show has only one WrestleMania main event to his name, appearing in a Fatal 4-Way for the WWF Championship in 2000.
Accompanied by Shane McMahon, the match itself was more about the first family of wrestling, as all four McMahons had a horse in the race: Triple H with Stephanie, The Rock with Vince, and Mick Foley with Linda.
Less than five minutes into the match, Show was eliminated by The Rock, and within a few months, the former WWF Champion would find himself back in Ohio Valley Wrestling.
