5 WWE teams that could split up in the upcoming draft

Mere days after WWE SmackDown Live's historic debut on FOX, the promotion will have a two-night draft, giving both brands a unique set of WWE Superstars.

This move will not only give both shows their own identities moving forward, but it will also mark the definitive end of the infamous Wild Card Rule. WWE's annual Superstar Shakeup took place earlier this year after WrestleMania 35, but the Wild Card rule was introduced shortly thereafter, rendering the Shakeup somewhat useless.

On October 11th and 14th, SmackDown Live and Monday Night RAW will have special draft editions, with several Superstars switching brands. As is often the case, we just might see a few tag teams getting split up as a result. Let's take a look at five teams that could feel the brunt of the draft.

It has been a long while since Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville came up to the main roster. The duo debuted on the November 20, 2017 episode of RAW and called themselves Absolution. Their leader, Paige, soon retired after suffering a devastating injury at a house show, but the two Superstars stayed together, surviving several Superstar Shakeups in the process.

A breakup was teased between the two on the road to WrestleMania 35, but nothing came of it. Deville accidentally cost Mandy a SmackDown Live Women's title match, and a split between the two seemed inevitable.

Will the upcoming WWE Draft finally manage to split up Rose and Deville? They have been a tag team for nearly two years and desperately need a new direction. Expect one of these women to get assigned to Monday Night RAW, which will go a long way in helping both Superstars carve their own paths on separate brands.
