5 Worst Survivor Series teams of all time

Survivor Series has been one of my favourite WWE PPV’s of the year since I can remember watching wrestling. After last year’s stellar show, capped off by Goldberg destroying Brock Lesnar, we’re gearing up for another exciting edition this year with the show now being headlined by AJ Styles vs Brock Lesnar. Even though it will probably end with one F5, it’ still one of the most hotly anticipated matches this year.

With Survivor Series 2017 is just over a week away, we take a look back at some of the worst Survivor Series teams of all-time. From bad decisions to downright mistakes, let’s take at some of the worst teams Survivor Series has had to offer.

5: Bossman, Viscera, Mideon and Albert (Survivor Series 1999)

The year was 1999. The Attitude Era was in full swing. And, Big Show’s kayfabe father was dead, when the Big Bossman decided to up the ante even further by invading his funeral before driving away with the casket hooked to the back of his car, all the while cracking jokes about drag queens.

This led to a Survivor Series match between Big Show’s team and the Bossman’s team. Bossman’s team wasn’t the most impressive – Bossman, Viscera, Mideon and Albert…..sorry… Prince Albert – but Show’s one took the cake as far as disappointing Survivor Series teams go.

Since Show didn’t want partners, he was randomly assigned teammates with Kai En Tai and Blue Meanie, who were perennial jobbers during their time in the WWE, beloved but still jobbers. How did show react? He destroyed his partners in the locker room during Sunday Night Heat before proceeding to win his match in about a minute and a half on the PPV.
