With the Royal Rumble behind us, and the Elimination Chamber around the corner, it's clear that we are truly on the road to WrestleMania 35.

Following huge Rumble victories by Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins, this year's show is shaping up to be a blockbuster, with Lynch taking on RAW Women's Champion 'Rowdy' Ronda Rousey, and Rollins hoping to be the one to topple Universal Champion Brock Lesnar.

But with WrestleMania mere weeks away, rumors are running rampant, as leaks, speculation and backstage sources continue to spill into the public.

And whilst this year's Showcase of the Immortals is already shaping up nicely, it's very easy for all this positivity to be derailed, especially if some of the rumors appearing turn out to be fact.

Here are five rumors for WrestleMania 35 we hope aren't true.

#5 Brock Lesnar retains

When Seth Rollins won the 2019 Men's Royal Rumble, it didn't take the Architect long to reveal that he will face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania.

Lesnar, who has had an iron grip over the title for the majority of the past two years, isn't popular with the fans, who loathe his sporadic appearances, so having the beloved Rollins take the title from him makes perfect sense right.

Well, fans may have to prepare to be disappointed, as there's still the possibility of the Beast retaining, much like he did last year against Roman Reigns.

Mania 34's match was planned to be the Big Dog's night, until the match was changed late in the game, something Lesnar isn't opposed to, as long as he comes out on top.

Hopefully, we don't get a repeat this year.
