Backlash signaled the beginning of a new era for WWE, but even in a new era, the company had the same old problems. Raw and SmackDown collided in the first-ever dual brand pay-per-view since the Superstar Shakeup and there were a number of moments that stood out throughout the show for all the wrong reasons.

There weren't any botches bigger than Titus O'Neil's show-stealing slide at The Greatest Royal Rumble, but there were still a number of noticeable errors as part of tonight's show.

The No Disqualification match between Shinsuke Nakamura and AJ Styles for the WWE Championship was always going to include weapons, but it was the introduction of a chair that appeared to be the biggest downfall for Styles.

The WWE Champion threw the steel chair at Nakamura and the rebound then hit The Phenomenal One in the face and cut his cheek open.
