6 rumored surprise entrants in this year's Men's Royal Rumble match
The Royal Rumble is going to take place this Sunday at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona. The match-card is completely stacked with nearly all championships being defended and two Royal Rumble matches.
Currently, there have been 20 entrants announced for Men's Royal Rumble match, and the rest of the 10 entrants will be known during the match itself as WWE wants to plan huge surprises for the fans going into the event.
So, here are six superstars who are rumored to participate in the men's Royal Rumble match...
#6 Tye Dillinger
Tye Dillinger is expected to return to WWE very soon. He suffered a hand injury at a WWE live event, which lead him being pulled from a United States Championship match against Shinsuke Nakamura on SmackDown a few months ago.
Since then Dillinger has been recovering, and now is rumored as a surprise entrant in the Men's Royal Rumble match. Dillinger debuted on the main roster as a surprise call-up in the Royal Rumble match of 2017 in which he entered at No.10.
Last year, he was attacked by Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens before entering in the Royal Rumble, after which Zayn took his spot in the match. "The Perfect Ten" can make a return in this year's Royal Rumble match which would be an exciting moment for the fans.
#5 Kevin Owens
Another Superstar set to return from injury is Kevin Owens, who is reportedly losing some weight for his much-awaited in-ring return. WWE also aired a vignette on his return last month on Raw.
He has been rumored to be one of the entrants in Royal Rumble match and also has a planned feud for WrestleMania 35 against Bobby Lashley for Intercontinental Title, as it was Lashley who injured Owens on Raw a few months ago.
Fans have been lately missing Owens on Raw since his character has always been beloved by the WWE Universe. So a return by Owens at the Royal Rumble would generate a massive pop among the fans watching the event.
