6 shows coming to WWE Network and Peacock this weekend - Next big PLE, major Cody Rhodes drama on past SmackDown

WWE Network and Peacock are a dream come true for wrestling fans. Tens of thousands of hours of wrestling footage can be seen at the swipe of a finger and more programming is added on-demand just about every single day.

For example, most of the week saw some new and archived shows being made available to check out on-demand. Monday saw a new episode of RAW Talk get added to the archives, which is currently an hour-long program following RAW shrinking to just two each week.

Unfortunately, Tuesday is bare for Peacock now with NXT no longer part of the platform. Wednesday saw a full episode of Monday Night RAW from the prior month be added on-demand. Lastly, This Week In WWE streamed on Thursday.

This weekend will be busier than it has been for both platforms, as instead of the semi-common four uploads, six full-length videos will arrive on-demand. This includes the next PLE, an interview show, and beyond.

Below are six shows coming to WWE Network and Peacock this weekend.

#6. The SmackDown LowDown will stream

The SmackDown LowDown will be streaming on WWE Network and Peacock beginning on Friday, October 25, 2024. The show now airs at 10 PM EST immediately following SmackDown instead of on Saturday mornings as it previously had.

The show features an analysis of the blue brand's latest episode courtesy of Megan Morgant and Scott Stanford, although Sam Roberts sometimes fills in. Additionally, three select interviews are spliced into the program featuring stars of SmackDown.

Last Friday's edition of the show is available on-demand and the interview portion can be seen in the video above. DIY were first to be interviewed, followed by the legendary Motor City Machine Guns who debuted on the blue brand. Additionally, Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson were chatting but got interrupted by Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill.

#5. NXT Halloween Havoc 2024 & #4. Countdown To NXT Halloween Havoc 2024

WWE's next premium live event will be streaming this weekend. NXT will present Halloween Havoc on Sunday, October 27, beginning at 7 PM EST. This is one of the final big PLEs of 2024, with just a few left on the calendar.

The card for Halloween Havoc looks fairly stacked. Trick Williams and Ethan Page will battle it out in a Devil's Playground Match, Stephanie Vaquer and Giulia will unite in tag team action, plus Tony D'Angelo will take on Oba Femi in a Tables, Ladders, and Scares Match.

Before Halloween Havoc even begins, a special pre-show will air. The Countdown to NXT Halloween Havoc 2024 will begin streaming at 6 PM EST. While no match has been announced by WWE, the show will likely have exclusive interviews and preview the big show.

#3. WWE Main Event & #2. Friday Night SmackDown, two recent shows will be added on-demand

Two shows that aired on other platforms will soon be added to both WWE Network and Peacock. In the case of SmackDown, the show first aired on the USA Network. For Main Event, it airs internationally, but the show no longer streams on Hulu.

WWE Main Event from October 10, 2024, will be added to the archives on Saturday, October 26. The episode featured two big matches, including Sol Ruca and Tatum Paxley from NXT clashing. Meanwhile, RAW's Dragon Lee and Julius Creed went at it to close out Main Event.

Friday Night SmackDown from September 27, 2024, will be made available on-demand on Sunday, October 27. This episode featured a lot of drama with Cody Rhodes, as both Randy Orton and Kevin Owens expressed issues with The American Nightmare ahead of him teaming up with Roman Reigns.

#1. NXT Level Up will stream

NXT Level Up will be back with a brand new episode on Friday, October 25, beginning at around 10:30 PM EST on both WWE Network and Peacock. Despite being incorrectly listed as airing at 10 PM EST, the show has changed time slots ever since The SmackDown LowDown moved to Friday nights.

This upcoming edition of NXT Level Up will feature three big-time matches, including an intriguing tag team main event. Dante Chen will team up with Drake Morreaux and take on the duo of Kale Dixon and Uriah Connors.

Additionally, Mark Coffey of Gallus will go one-on-one with the up-and-coming Dion Lennox. Lastly, Olympian Tyra Mae Steele will be taking on Izzi Dame in singles competition. Izzi is a semi-regular on the NXT brand.
