6 smart booking decisions that can make Hell in a Cell a success
The 2017 edition of the otherwise highly anticipated Hell in a Cell PPV is almost here but unfortunately, the hype and excitement just aren't there this time around. Smackdown has consistently failed to deliver even a partially decent PPV this year and fans seem to be under the impression that this trend is most likely to continue with this Sunday's Hell in a Cell event.
But there is still hope and the supremely talented Smackdown roster is fully capable of pulling a rabbit out of their hat and delivering a good PPV event. With stars like AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Shinsuke Nakamura, Bobby Roode and Kevin Owens having bouts on the card, delivering a good PPV is merely a matter of making smart booking decisions. Here are some of the ways in which Hell in a Cell can become a gigantic success.
#1 Kevin Owens should win and stay on Smackdown
Kevin Owens' recent transformation into a ruthless heel has been the best storyline to have aired on Smackdown in a long time. Owens was always a great onscreen villain but his recent feud with the McMahon’s has escalated his stardom to new heights. Owens is the breath of fresh air that Smackdown was desperately in search of but if he loses to Shane on Sunday and is drafted to Raw then it will be a massive blow to Smackdown.
After being a part of numerous 5-star matches over the last couple of years, Kevin deserves to secure a win over Shane in a brutal, back and forth Hell in a Cell match. If KO wins his match against Shane on Sunday then it can even lead to a potential clash with Triple H in the not so distant future.
