6 unselfish things Brock Lesnar has done backstage in WWE

Brock Lesnar is an icon in the WWE, but he doesn't get the respect he deserves from the WWE Universe, especially in recent years. Fans have booed and criticized The Beast for being a part-timer, but what a lot of fans don't understand is the legitimacy he brings to the product, as well as a story.

What fans don't also know about the former UFC Heavyweight Champion is the respect he has for his peers and how he has helped numerous Superstars backstage.

Let's take a look at 6 unselfish things that Brock Lesnar has done backstage in WWE:

#6 Helps Big Show

Brock Lesnar has helped many Superstars revive their careers in the WWE, and one of them being Big Show, which happened in Lesnar's first run with WWE in the early 2000s. Show and Lesnar's feud helped bring Big Show back to the top of the card, and he credits Lesnar for his career resurgence.

While speaking to Corey Graves on the After The Bell podcast, Big Show revealed that Lesnar personally asked WWE to work with Big Show, and told WWE that they were "sleeping on him" and being underused.

“I owe my entire resurgence of my career to Brock Lesnar. For the longest time, I was still napalm when I came back from OVW, and Brock’s main event [opponent] somehow got stuck on a plane. Jack Lanza, in a house show, threw me in with Brock, and Brock and I tore the house down.

They were asking Brock who’s you next opponent he said, ‘I want to work with Show. He’s a giant. He can work. You guys are just sleeping on him.’ (H/T SeScoops)

Lesnar had interacted and worked with Big Show previously when Show was moved to OVW, WWE's developmental territory where the likes of Lesnar, Randy Orton, John Cena, and Batista were all coming through.
