6 WWE acts Triple H has no idea what to do with
With over 130 acts to worry about in WWE, some will fall by the wayside. Bookers will always make top stars their main priority. Champions are next on the list in terms of getting air time.
This leaves the rest of the time for midcard acts or main-event feuds not centered around titles. The battle between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk was perfectly booked each week.
While Punk and McIntyre sold their heated rivalry over the course of nine months, several other acts have been used inconsistently. Others haven't been used at all. Triple H may have no idea what to do with the next six WWE acts.
#6. The LWO is only relevant if someone turns on Rey Mysterio
While The Bloodline and Judgment Day get multiple segments every week on programming, the LWO shows up as sporadically as Roman Reigns did during his title run.
The group pops up once a month for a few weeks and then vanishes. The two-hour format has hurt them and the rest of the WWE roster. Rey Mysterio's faction has only been in feuds with The Judgment Day or Legado Del Fantasma.
Rey had a brief angle with the New Day but disappeared again after it despite not being hurt. It's why another random Dragon Lee vignette aired a few weeks ago to reintroduce him to the fans.
#5. Omos doesn't have a role in WWE's New Era
Omos enjoyed a regular role when Vince McMahon was still in control of WWE. With Triple H running things now, some stars have not received the same push they had before the change.
The Giant could be booked against Bronson Reed or Bron Breakker, or could even go to NXT to face other stars.
Sitting on the sidelines isn't acceptable due to his spot as a special attraction. Triple H must find a way to utilize Omos because stars his size don't come along every year.
#4. Shinsuke Nakamura has been an afterthought
Like Omos, Shinsuke Nakamura hasn't been on WWE programming for months now. While he was never booked as a potential world champion, he still had an important role on the roster.
The King of Strong Style routinely challenged for major gold but became a fixture in the midcard. His feuds with Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes reinvigorated his stock, but that stock quickly dipped in 2024.
Nakamura has been helping overseas but he's also been used at live events. Why not use him on SmackDown instead of just at live events? The former NXT Champ could move to RAW or challenge LA Knight.
#3. Pretty Deadly is a unique tag team
Kit Wilson and Elton Prince had a good start on the main roster a few years ago. Lately, however, they've been used more for comedic angles (which they have excelled at) rather than as credible challengers.
SmackDown doesn't have another comedic duo that can wrestle like Pretty Deadly, so they've been kept in a specific role. The segments with Tiffany Stratton and Nia Jax were still gold and a way to get them on screen.
The problem is that the SmackDown tag division has been rotating the same three teams - The Bloodline, DIY, and Street Profits. Part of the reason may be due to having the Bloodline as heel titleholders.
#2. Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair, and booking the women's tag team division
Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair have been on nearly every show for the last two weeks, including NXT. They've beaten every team, including the last credible threat in Damage CTRL. WWE bookers have seemingly run out of viable opponents due to overexposure.
The champs seem headed for a multi-team match again at Crown Jewel against a few lesser teams and Damage CTRL. If they lose, they won't be pinned, and it will restart the cycle of going after the titles yet again. The pairing is a way to keep Belair on screens and eventually lead to a feud with Cargill.
The problem is that certain stars (The Unholy Union, Katana Chance and Kayden Carter) only appear in the tag team division. They aren't used if they aren't champions, but Cargill and Belair are singles stars in a tag team.
The experiment should end so that actual teams have something to do. WWE could have made the Pure Fusion Collective a force but they always lose. They have no credibility and wouldn't have a chance against the juggernaut champs.
#1. The Wyatt Sicks faded away after a great start
WWE had a hot act when Uncle Howdy returned to RAW with The Wyatt Sicks. The pairing continued Bray Wyatt's work as a creative force. After targeting Chad Gable and helping break up Alpha Academy, Howdy and the group went away.
Uncle Howdy himself has only had one singles match since returning to action. Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy, and Erick Rowan have competed in a few contests. Nikki Cross had a brief tussle with Ivy Nile.
The group is targeting the Miz for presumably turning on R-Truth despite warnings. Going after Miz is like having stale toast for breakfast - some people may like it but it's not something to get excited about. Triple H should book the group against bigger opponents instead of heels on the lower end of the midcard.
