WWE records are one of the things that the company likes to keep track of. Among these records, number of Championship reigns has been a pretty important one. The likes of John Cena and Ric Flair lead the pack with 16 World Championship reigns each, whilst Triple H and Randy Orton are slowly catching up with 14 and 13 reigns of their own.

Length of a reign also seems to be a huge deal in WWE, with CM Punk being the current record holder for the longest WWE Championship reign of the modern era, something that the company will definitely want to wipe out in the near future.

Records are broken all the time and it seems that 2018 will be no different. With the women wrestlers set to take part in the first ever Women's Royal Rumble match, there will definitely be more moments for these women to shine in, in the new year.

Alexa Bliss recently broke Charlotte's record and became the longest reigning Raw Women's Champion in the short history of the belt, but it seems that she is now eyeing another Championship milestone.

Charlotte also holds the record for the longest combined championship reign at 246 days whilst Alexa has held the Championship for 226 days altogether.

That means that in less than three weeks' time, as long as Alexa can hold on to her Championship, she could be the first woman to break a record in 2018.
