5 former WWE Superstars that should be welcomed back with open arms

Would Vince allow this power-couple to come back?

Professional wrestling is an industry unlike any other. With a revolving door that never stops, new talent often goes out faster than new recruits can be welcomed in. With that said, the business is getting younger by the day and there is constantly someone looking for the opportunity to outwork the next guy, hoping to snag a roster spot.

Despite the fact that professional wrestling is getting younger, there is something about the experience and skill level of a proven veteran that cannot be trumped by even the most promising young prospect.

Just as Superstars come and go, there are some who just need a break. Then again, there are some who should have never been let go, to begin with. In today's article, we will take a look at a few former WWE Superstars that should be welcomed back without hesitation...if they decide to come back.

#5 John Morrison

John has accomplished a lot since his WWE departure!

John Morrison was a prime example of someone who was grossly mismanaged. It was blatantly obvious, as far back as his Tough Enough days, that Morrison possessed the raw, natural ability needed to succeed in this brutal industry. John certainly had the unique in-ring appearance and the skillset came extremely natural to him as well.

Towards the end of John's tenure with the company, he started suffering from nagging, recurring injuries and also struggling with some sort of internal beef regarding creative freedom, or the lack thereof.

When Morrison left, very few believed he would have any luck away from the control of the WWE. However, John left with a chip on his shoulder, vowing to show the world that he could do much more than he was creatively allowed with WWE.

With a ton of notable success under his belt, John Morrison has padded what has become quite the resume. He has excelled in top promotions such as GFW, Lucha Underground, AAA and many independent promotions as well.

I'm not sure if John even has the desire to go back to where it all started, and I honestly couldn't blame him if he didn't. But, it sure would make a good story to have Morrison come full circle... completely full and come back home, win a top title and go out vindicated.
