7 things WWE Raw need to change in 2019

WWE Raw was once known as the flagship show in wrestling, as it was the go-to stop for high octane non-stop action, but in 2018, WWE showed us that Raw in the modern day of wrestling is a mere shell of its former self.

WWE completely dropped the ball with the handling of their so-called 'A show' to the point where they actually came on TV to explain the poor results of their booking, and while Vince McMahon says that Raw is in a new era, it still doesn't seem that way.

So how can WWE improve Raw in the new era? As Raw desperately needs a reboot in the new year.

#1 The tag team division

The Raw tag team division is one of the most terribly booked sections of Raw each week, and that is due to WWE not having a set plan for the tag teams on Raw.

Fans complain about the poor state of things in the tag team division, but if WWE don't have a plan to make the tag teams credible, bring back prestige to the Raw tag team titles, and make tag team wrestling the exciting novelty it once was, nothing will really change.

#2 The top face and heel

The main reason why Raw has been totally unsatisfying this year is due to WWE not really having an idea of who the top babyface and top heel on the brand are, as we have seen temporary placeholders in the role every month, there is no consistency in that department, and that is a mistake.

We have seen Strowman as a heel one month, and the following month he is suddenly pushed as a babyface, the same goes with the likes of Dolph Ziggler, Dean Ambrose, and even Brock Lesnar who doesn't show up enough to be called the top heel on Raw. Raw needs consistency in this department, and hopefully, it can be realised next year.
