7-time champion to save Nia Jax from Tiffany Stratton's betrayal on WWE SmackDown? Exploring who can thwart her MITB cash in attempt
Nia Jax has a lot to think about as SmackDown prepares for its Season Premiere on the USA Network. While The Irresistible Force is the reigning WWE Women's Champion, she may have a snake named Tiffany Stratton in her midst. Ms. Money in the Bank has played the role of an innocent little princess for quite some time now, but The Buff Barbie could be planning for a shocking cash-in on Queen Nia. However, could she be stopped by a seven-time champion?
The answer to that question is in the affirmative because the star in question is Bayley. The Role Model is a two-time WWE Women's Champion, a two-time SmackDown Women's Champion, a two-time Women's Tag Team Champion, and a one-time NXT Women's Champion.
The 2024 Women's Royal Rumble winner has been butting heads with Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton for quite a while now, even before she lost the WWE Women's Championship to The Irresistible Force at SummerSlam. But in the last few weeks, she seems to be more focused on The Buff Barbie.
It all started on the go-home episode of SmackDown before Bash in Berlin. Bayley's timely intervention prevented Tiffany Stratton from cashing in her MITB contract. Moreover, the two had an incredible match last week on the blue brand's final episode on FOX. The match ended in The Role Model's favor.
With that in mind, the 35-year-old may continue to target Stratton, and in the process, she may inadvertently prevent her from betraying Nia Jax once again in this week's episode.
It's clear to see that Bayley has issues with Tiffany Stratton, who really was the catalyst for her loss in Cleveland, Ohio.
And if The Role Model does continue to target her, this may ironically end up working in The Irresistible Force's favor. But at the end of the day, this is nothing more than speculation.
Nia Jax could replace Tiffany Stratton with Chelsea Green
While Nia Jax continues to stand by Tiffany Stratton, she is well aware of The Buff Barbie's games. Although she hasn't expressed much concern yet, in the back of her mind, she knows there is a distinct possibility that the 25-year-old may try to cash in on her again. Hence, the Australian may choose to replace her sooner rather than later.
Looking across the roster, there really aren't many viable replacements. After all, Jax hasn't done a great job making friends backstage. But one potential candidate is Chelsea Green. The 33-year-old has her own set of issues with Stratton, but more importantly, she has repeatedly planted the seeds of doubt in Jax's mind about a potential betrayal from the 2024 Ms. Money in the Bank.
It wouldn't be all that surprising to see Green take Stratton's place as Jax's 'princess.' And from the looks of it, The Hot Mess is clearly working this angle. Will she be successful in her endeavors? Only time will tell!
