Alicia Fox has been a part of the company for quite a while alongside Natalya. After her short title reign in 2010, Fox began scrambling for relevance in women's division. Her move-set improved and her ring presence became sound over the next few years which led to fans voicing their support for Fox to be pushed again, this time under a 'crazy gimmick', in 2014. Although Fox was active throughout the Women's Revolution, the company began focusing more heavily on the much newer talents from NXT.

With the arrival of Asuka and Ronda Rousey, Fox might be an afterthought for fans when they think of the women's division. Her sudden injury (surprising since she never gets injured) during Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania season in 2018 certainly did not do her any favours.

However, there is a reason the company has kept her for so long. She has a good backstage reputation, was a model-turned-wrestler who has respect for the business, can put up great matches if given the opportunity, is well known because of her time at Total Divas, is a great seller, and people seem to be invested in the crazy gimmick. These are the ways Fox can insert herself as one of the top female veterans in the company:

'The Land of Opportunity' has done wonders for its Superstars. Feuds with Carmella, Natalya, Charlotte, the Riott Squad and Becky Lynch would put her back in the title picture. Between 2016- 2017, while she was a member of the RAW roster, she missed out on big opportunities like the first-ever women's Hell in a Cell match in 2016, the Falls Count Anywhere Match on Smackdown between Nikki Bella and Natalya, as well as the two MITB Ladder Matches featuring the Smackdown women's division.

Her arrival on Smackdown would lead her to being constantly featured on a weekly basis, building her own character as well as the women's division there (which is looked as an afterthought to the RAW women's division).

Be it experienced wrestlers like Naomi, Natalya or Ruby Riott, or even less experienced wrestlers like Lana or Carmella, all of them have been involved in high profile matches for the Women's Championship. Watching Fox take part in the next MITB match under her 'crazy' gimmick would be interesting for the viewers to watch and great for her career.
