8-time WWE champion to return to settle unfinished business with Solo Sikoa on SmackDown? Exploring potential surprise

Tonight's episode of WWE SmackDown will be the first one on the USA Network in years and is expected to kick off with the Steel Cage Match between Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa. The two stars will battle for the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Since the title match will open the show, the company may have something huge planned for the main event, and that can include the return of a popular face. Jimmy Uso hasn't been seen since April 2024, when his loss at WrestleMania X cost him his place in The Bloodline.

Jimmy was kicked out of the group by Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga, as they ushered in a new era for the faction. The Bloodline has since grown to include Tonga Loa and Jacob Fatu, and they are now in pursuit of Cody Rhodes and the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Recent updates suggest that Jimmy Uso could finally be set to make his return in the coming months, and tonight might be the perfect occasion for his arrival. Roman Reigns could also be waiting in the wings, meaning that Jimmy might have some backup against The Bloodline.

Jimmy Uso could be looking for revenge on Solo Sikoa following WWE SmackDown attack

Roman Reigns obviously will now have his eyes on Jacob Fatu following the assault that wrote him off SmackDown for several weeks. Jimmy Uso could decide to target Solo Sikoa, while The Street Profits might tackle Loa and Tonga.

Jimmy has some unfinished business with his brother since it was Sikoa who chose to kick him out of The Bloodline. The eight-time Tag Team Champion's return may allow Reigns to set up his own army. Reigns found out the hard way that he can't take out The Bloodline on his own, but with the help of Jimmy and The Steet Profits, who have their eyes on the Tag Team Championship, he may finally have the backup that he needs.
