9-time champion to attack Sami Zayn and force Roman Reigns to find a new teammate? Exploring the possibility
Last week on SmackDown, fans of WWE saw a heartwarming reunion when Sami Zayn returned to join the original members of the Bloodline. Yet, there is a chance that things might not go as planned, with the possibility of Zayn being targeted by a nine-time champion, leading the OTC to seek out a new team member.
Working alongside Roman Reigns and The Usos, Zayn aims to defeat Solo Sikoa and his Bloodline at Survivor Series: WarGames. It's hard to forget that the original Bloodline caused much havoc back in the day, making many enemies. Well, one such enemy could choose to strike very soon, citing betrayal as his motivation, and if you haven't guessed it already, it's nine-time champion, Kevin Owens.
Owens has been on a path of destruction of late, and he could just turn his attention to Sami Zayn. The Prizefighter is convinced that everyone is out to betray him, and seeing his best friend ally with his former arch-nemesis could just make him snap. He has already taken out Randy Orton and will likely go after Cody Rhodes next. But now, with Zayn on SmackDown, he may have a new target.
Assuming KO does attack Zayn and injures him, Roman Reigns could be forced to look for a new teammate. But, as things stand, this is nothing more than speculation. Only time will tell how things unfold.
Sami Zayn has been busy trying to recruit a fifth member for the OG Bloodline
Despite initial resistance, Sami Zayn has fully embraced his return to the OG Bloodline. He has accepted his role in the family and has already begun making moves to help them. In fact, recently on RAW, he joined both Jimmy and Jey Uso in their endeavor to recruit a fifth member to their group.
The OG Bloodline will battle with Solo Sikoa's Bloodline at Survivor Series: WarGames. Given the stipulation, both teams will need a fifth member, and Sami got straight to work on the red brand. The Underdog from the Underground approached Seth Rollins, but things didn't go as planned.
Citing his history with Roman Reigns, The Visionary bluntly rejected Zayn and his plea. Nevertheless, it's likely that the 40-year-old will continue to pitch the idea, both to Rollins and perhaps any other superstar who will listen. Hopefully, he is able to find someone willing to work with them.
