9-time champion to help Drew McIntyre win at WWE Clash at the Castle? Exploring potential swerve that Damian Priest won't see coming

Drew McIntyre is just a few days away from performing in front of his countrymen at Clash at the Castle. Heading into the Premium Live Event, he has everything going for him. Not only did he leave this week's episode with a win, but he also guaranteed that The Judgment Day would be banned from ringside for his match against Damian Priest. But, could things get even better with the help of a nine-time champion?

The nine-time champion in question just so happens to be a former tag team partner of Drew McIntyre. Jack Jester has held titles across a number of promotions, including British Championship Wrestling, Jimmy Havoc Presents Wrestling, Preston City Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Elite, and Insane Championship Wrestling. Recently, both Jester and The Scottish Psychopath were reunited in the latter's old stomping grounds in Glasgow, at the Insane Championship Wrestling Asylum.

However, while their meeting in Glasgow may have been by chance, the two could pair up again at Clash at the Castle. Intent on winning the World Heavyweight Championship, Drew McIntyre could enlist the support of Jack Jester, and catch Damian Priest off guard. With Jester running interference, McIntyre could take advantage, and secure the win over The Archer of Infamy.

But, at the end of the day, this is all just mere speculation. There is no telling if Jack Jester will even be at Clash at the Castle, let alone if McIntyre will want his help. Only time will tell how things unfold in Glasgow, Scotland.

Drew McIntyre recently got candid about his hatred for CM Punk

While Drew McIntyre will be laser-focused on Damian Priest, there will be one superstar nagging him in the back of his mind. CM Punk, in McIntyre's mind, is the cause of all the problems he has faced since WrestleMania 40. So, while the outcome of Clash at the Castle remains unknown at this point, it is likely that McIntyre will turn his attention to The Voice of the Voiceless soon after it.

Recently, The Scottish Warrior was very candid about his feelings for Punk. Speaking to The Indian Express, McIntyre revealed exactly why he hates CM Punk. He explained, that The Best in the World hurt him deeply when he was younger, both personally and professionally, and that he feels that he is a genuinely terrible person.

It's safe to say that McIntyre does plan on taking out Punk at some point or the other. But, as mentioned earlier, right now he has Damian Priest to worry about, and he would do well to remember that come Saturday.
