9 WWE Superstars who have pinned both John Cena and Roman Reigns
John Cena and Roman Reigns are not only the two most polarizing performers in modern-day WWE but also are two of the most difficult superstars to defeat via pinfall.
Although Cena has started losing more often in recent years, both he and Reigns have developed reputations for winning their high-profile matches and it’s still a surprise to see either man lose 1-2-3 in the middle of the ring.
With that in mind, we decided to do some research, looking through over 2,000 matches from the WWE archives, we found that only nine men have pinned both Cena and Reigns in matches over the years.
In this article, we take a look at all nine members of the elite club and reveal how many times they were able to defeat 'The Face That Runs The Place' and 'The Big Dog' via pinfall.
#9 The Big Show
Pinned John Cena: Big Show and Cena first feuded in 2004 but it wasn’t until 2009 that 'The World’s Largest Athlete' pinned his long-term rival. He went on to gain four pinfall victories over the 16-time World champion on Raw in a 13-month span between March 2009 and April 2010.
Pinned Roman Reigns: Big Show has featured in plenty of matches with Reigns over the years, mostly in multi-man battles involving The Shield, but his one and only pinfall victory came in February 2015 when he got the 1-2-3 on Raw after interference from J&J Security and Seth Rollins.
