A historic WWE rubber match; Calling in a valuable favor - 5 WrestleMania 41 matches for Roman Reigns if The Rock isn't available

The build to WrestleMania 41 has already started to slowly take shape. Cody Rhodes won the 2024 Royal Rumble and looked ready to challenge Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40. However, The Rock's reappearance on the Day 1 episode of RAW messed up plans for WrestleMania 40.

After a lot of shuffling, some confusing storytelling, and heel turns, Rhodes, the Rock, and Reigns all factored into the main events of both nights. Some fans wanted to see the Samoan cousins face off at The Showcase of the Immortals.

Others were unhappy that Rocky walked back into the swing of things to demand a prime spot. Things have changed greatly since then and seeds have been planted for potential matches for WrestleMania 41.

If The Rock isn't available to face Reigns in April, the next five WWE stars would be good alternatives for The Head of the Table.

#5. Tangling with the Samoan Werewolf

Jacob Fatu and Roman Reigns have faced off with each other several times during the Bloodline war. Solo Sikoa held him back once, but when things broke down, Fatu and Reigns threw hands.

Fatu has overcome The Original Tribal Chief's moves at nearly every turn, teasing a blockbuster match for the future. He's made an incredible impact in his short tenure in WWE.

Few stars have been able to get the better of Roman Reigns, but The Samoan Werewolf is a physical anomaly. A showcase at WrestleMania 41 would be a proper spot for the two to battle.

#4. Seth Rollins revisits his history at WrestleMania 41

Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns will be linked forever due to their beginnings in the Shield. Their careers paralleled each other as each star won numerous titles on opposite brands.

Sami Zayn and The Usos attempted to recruit The Visionary for WarGames, but he rebuked the offer twice. Reigns also didn't want to bring him into the fold for the huge match.

Rollins and Reigns both have grounds for mistrusting each other. In the current landscape of things, however, The Head of the Table is the heel between the two. He and The Bloodline ruled over SmackDown for four years.

They brutalized Rollins and Rhodes on the way to The Show of Shows. Reigns used emotional torture at every turn. The two could settle their differences from their latest spat at WrestleMania 41.

#3. A third-straight meeting at WrestleMania?

Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns have faced each other three times at WrestleMania in the last two years. Roman beat Cody with help from The Bloodline at WrestleMania 39.

The Head of the Table and The Rock beat Rhodes and Rollins on Night 1 this year. The American Nightmare finally slayed the Head of the Table on Night 2.

A third singles contest could be a consolation prize instead of The Rock since WWE will probably give Roman Reigns a rematch at some point.

Doing so three years in a row is overkill and both need to move on to other things. Despite those factors, it would likely be a big draw next April if The Rock can't wrestle at WrestleMania 41.

#2. A one-on-one battle between Tribal Chiefs

While the Bloodlines have battled at several WWE PLEs, most of those clashes have been in multi-person matches. While Solo Sikoa pinned The Original Tribal Chief twice, Reigns pinned Sikoa to win WarGames for his team at Survivor Series.

The easiest way to settle the score and truly have one Tribal Chief would be to book a Tribal Combat match at WrestleMania 41. Solo has played the villain brilliantly and has been heavily featured on SmackDown each week.

If The Rock can't make the date in Las Vegas, settling the Tribal Chief drama once and for all would be a match worthy of WrestleMania 41.

#1. CM Punk's favor will lead to something big

The main reason why CM Punk agreed to team with the OG Bloodline for WarGames was because of his friendship with Paul Heyman. Heyman was Punk's Wiseman first and considered him a friend instead of an employee.

Commentators tried to paint Punk as a self-serving mercenary during the WarGames build and match, but he made his intentions extremely clear during the sit-down. He backed up everyone during the match even though the two alpha dogs tested each other throughout WarGames, so neither star is infallible.

Punk has always wanted a main-event spot at WrestleMania and could have had one had he not been injured in the 2024 Royal Rumble. Calling in his favor to face a big star he had a hand in bringing to the main roster would be a more-than-suitable replacement should The Rock pass on WrestleMania 41.
